New milestone for world-leading English test: IELTS trusted by more than 11,000 organisations across the globe

IELTS, the world’s leading English test for study, work and migration, celebrates a new milestone this month as 11,000 organisations have now signed up to accept its results. This milestone comes as people around the world are reviving their plans for international travel, migration and study.

Christine Nuttall, Managing Director IELTS at Cambridge Assessment English, said the high number of organisations that trust IELTS is testament to its world-class quality and integrity.

“Globally, people are looking for a test they can trust that will open doors for education, study and career opportunities,” Ms Nuttall said.

This is what IELTS is all about. We have been leaders in language testing for more than 30 years and our track record as the gold standard is unrivalled.

“While low-stakes online tests have emerged in recent years, none of them match the security, integrity and quality of IELTS,”
she said.

Ms Nuttall said "IELTS’ customer-centric values have been evident throughout the pandemic when the IELTS partners introduced innovations to help people stay connected with their global goals."

IELTS is the only test that is trusted for migration purposes by the Australian, Canadian, New Zealand and UK governments.

IELTS is jointly owned by the British Council, IDP Education and Cambridge Assessment English.
