Use our guide for advice on how to register and use the IELTS Results Verification Service. The IELTS Results Verification Service enables organisations to check whether test takers are presenting genuine results. This service is free of charge.
Organisations can also opt to download results, instead of receiving hard copies of individual Test Report Forms. Please note that this service is available to all IELTS recognising organisations (excluding those in Canada and the United States).

The IELTS Results Service enables organisations in Canada and the United States to check whether test-takers are presenting genuine results using the Verification Service and also allows organisations to receive scores electronically through the E-Delivery Service account. This service is free of charge.
Option 1: Verify individual IELTS Test Report Forms
The free, secure IELTS Results Verification Service allows organisations to quickly verify that an applicant is presenting a genuine Test Report Form by checking that the results you receive match the results held on the IELTS database.
Once you have registered for the IELTS Results Verification Service, you may then opt in to download IELTS results electronically instead of receiving hard copies of results.
Option 2: Securely download results electronically*
The IELTS download service allows registered organisations to securely download verified IELTS results for all test takers who have applied to their organisation. This means:
Results can be downloaded in either .XML or .CSV format.
*Please note that if you opt into the secure batch downloads service, hard copy Test Report Forms will no longer be posted to your institution.
I was able to log in, download the scores and forward them to our admissions team. This has really helped us speed up the application process. Love it!
As part of our assessment processes all IELTS reports are verified using the online IELTS Test Report Form (TRF) Verification site. Access to this site has enabled us to ensure that the IELTS results we receive are genuine. Recently, we immediately refused, without further processing, two applications where the TRF verification website identified the IELTS report as fraudulent. The website is very user-friendly and I would recommend it to anyone who assesses English ability using IELTS.
