A choice of two tests
There are two types of IELTS test: Academic and General Training. Both tests comprise four separate parts that assess each of the four language skills – Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.
IELTS Academic is suitable for people planning to study in higher education or seeking professional registration. IELTS General Training is suitable for people planning to train, undertake work experience or study at below degree level in English speaking environments.
